Home and safe again! I cannot begin to coherently break down the weekend, but here is a bulleted list of things we did. We:

Didn't die on the way.
Drove the dragon.
Checked in and didn't die in the old Otis elevator.
Were terrified by the creepy mole and foxes statue in the room.
I was attacked by a towel
Had the most amazing Italian food at what used to be a brothel.
Wandered Jerome in costume.
Decided we really wanted booze.
Drove to Cottonwood at midnight looking for booze.
drove to Sedona at 1 AM looking for booze.
Found booze.
Returned home with booze.
Drank on the balcony. A lot. Talked about anything and everything.
Realized two of us had drunk a bit too much.
Finally slept at like 5 AM
Went to Tatooine.
Had overpriced snack food.
Acquired candy for Dark Lord Kira.
Drove to Sedona to take pictures.
Bummed around Sedona in all its glory.
Were met by a hippy lady who had to get pictures of us.
Went back to Jerome.
Had appetizers at the Asylum.
Hung out with Jesus, watched him make drinks.
Met Little Red Riding Hood, who proudly showed off the wolf head in her basket. "I got that fucker".
Saw what happens to L after a life of paranoia and crime solving.
Wandered around looking at bars and having people ask to take out picture.
Led a parade.
Got our groove on.
Dressed L up as the glitteriest god of death ever.
AND BOOKED ROOM 32 FOR NEXT YEAR!

A lot more happened, but I don't want to totally confuse you with randomness without pictures.

This whole 'being productive' thing is tiring. I seem to have fallen into a routine of working from when I get up until 3. Routines are good. When it comes to doing things around the house, I cling to my routines.

I cleaned and took out trash and organized things today. I have fabric washing now. I really, really like this brown checked fabric I got, and kind of want to make a skirt or a jumper out of it. Tote bag experiments going well, so I am feeling rather pleased.

Now I'm zonked out on the couch with half a chicken focaccia sandwich and wincing at Jeff Conaway on Celebrity Fit Club. Yes, I watch junk sometimes. Mindless, mindless junk. But there's really nothing on, and I don't feel like moving my PS2 again to pop in a DVD or play some SO2. I mostly just want to veg on the couch for an hour, maybe RP some, read fic, whatever.

I'm going to have two RP characters in wheelchairs come Dayshift. And good god, the super bonding between adorkabledragon and notmyfather.... I figured they'd get close, but I had no idea they'd get this close. It's actually really cute to see, though I wonder over what possible repercussions it could have. Mmm, issutastic!

Fall is here. I'm wearing a long sleeved shirt. It's cold at night - I'm sleeping under a blanket and my comforter - and soon there will be snow on the mountains. And the Jerome trip is coming up! I need to get working on a costume. I'd love to do some Lolita pics up there at the hotel, but I am still lacking a petticoat. And a proper blouse.

I kind of want to take a nap.

Holy massive thunderstorms Batman! I woke up to huge cracks of thunder that shook the house. And the power being out. It came back on and I made some chai and played a little more Fatal Frame 2, but I saved as soon as I could, for fear of losing power and losing my game unsaved. I'm in the dirt cellar. I suck at catching the Vanishing Ghosts. I checked a walkthrough, and I have managed to get like... 7 out of 20-something. Oh well!

Oh, so I guess a bunch of pan-fandom RPGs are putting in clauses to say you can't app an HP character until a certain amount of time after the last book came out. I find that interesting, amusing, and a very smart idea.
