I swear, I will start waking up at a reasonable hour.
BUT! Last night Things Happened that kept me awake. Mainly, the cancellation of AniZona Con, the Easter weekend convention I go to every year.
This was much sadness. This convention means a lot to me. I've met some of the best people I know at this convention. And was really looking forward to this upcoming one.

anna_daae last night resulted in:
We Don't Need No Stinkin' Con: The Happy, Drunken Cosplay Party
Or: WD40 '08.
When? Easter Weekend.
Where? Jerome AZ, The Connor Hotel.
Events: Cosplay, karaoke (assuming I can get the karaoke game for the PS2), video games, anime viewing, Drinking If You're of Legal Age And Want To, Lolita tea party, games, and photoshoots. And of course just being unleashed on Jerome and Sedona in all our geektastic glory!
Lodging: Connor Hotel has rooms starting from 90$ a night. I don't know how many people we have so far, but if there's interest from other people (the more the merrier, but Jerome is a bit hard to get to) we may need two hotel rooms. All I know is I need either room 3 or 4. There are other hotels in Jerome that are cheap, but they are bed and breakfasts, and of course the Grand Hotel. Grand Hotel is a bit pricier.
ANYWAY! Uh. This is mostly for the people who were planning on going to AniZona, but if anyone else is interested.....
