Aug. 3rd, 2009 11:12 amI have made great leaps of progress in getting the new compy set up! I've got GIMP, Poddox, and bittorent downloaded. It's kind of sad that I keep bittorent around for one thing and one thing only: the hope that someday I find a working torrent of the 'Blister Soul' album.
And if you're frowning and grumbling about downloading music...if I could buy the CD, I would. It's been out of print since the late 90s. I've actually bought this CD three times, and three times it has been stolen from me. And while Itunes - of all things! - has it, I have no way to buy songs from Itunes. Which is just an epic taunt in my direction, really. (And after admitting how desperately I want this CD, we can add 'Christian Grunge' to the list of music I like...)
I also have my desktop set up just the way I like it.
( Shiny New Desktop! )
All hail The Walking Dude, the Good Man, the Dark Man, The Evil of Many Names...
I've also been writing, as I mentioned in my last entry. Later today I'm going to see about getting AIM installed. Right now, however, I'm overcome with a wave of exhaustion. This 'giving up caffeine completely' thing is hard...
