An Amazing Discovery
May. 18th, 2006 10:12 amSo my dearest
mikazuki and I were talking last night, and we got onto old shows we used to watch and how so many of them are coming to DVD. Count Duckula is on DVD, Captain N is coming to DVD, and Cori informed me of something I did not know and probably never would have found out on my own.
The Legend of Zelda 80s Cartoon is on DVD! All 13 episodes, bonus features, all of it in a lovely 3 DVD set. It is 20 bucks brand new from Amazon. I wantsss it, precioussss! I have all the episodes burned onto CDs, but they're crappy downloads with fuzzy quality and barely audible audio. But I cling to them, because this was my favorite show of all time. Princess Zelda was my first girl!crush ever. I wanted to grow up and be Link. And I never thought it would come to DVD, since it was just a short feature every Friday on the Super Mario Brothers Show. Which is also on DVD. But separately. LoZ gets its own DVD set!
Also, Animaniacs are coming to DVD. Get the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon out, and I will be content.
Who needs television anymore?
(And dude, if Zelda can come to DVD, Roar can come to DVD. Seriously.)
