Raimi Does Pratchett!
Mar. 13th, 2006 07:31 amSam Raimi To Take Wee Free Men To the Big Screen.
Nothing can contain my joy right now. (Other than the fact that I'm exhausted and woozy.) But seriously! Sam Raimi doing Terry Pratchett? There are very, very few people capable of taking any of Pratchett's works and making them into films, but I believe that Sam Raimi is one of them.
I had the most bizarre dream last night.
rivendellrose wrote a script for IB, and myself,
dalhessian and
_hannelore were going to perform it. There was a bus of schoolchildren involved, and a bridge, and a haunted house full of dogs.
I have been watching the responses on my Flist from folks who have just seen episode 50 of FMA for the first time, and getting all nostalgic. I remember that feeling of 'oh holy shit what the fuck just happened how can there be only one episode left?!?' very, very well. Of course, I was watching 43-51 all in one night and finished around 3 in the morning because I just had to see what happened. Good times, good times.
And now,a belated an advanced birthday greeting to
coramegan! I'm very glad to hear that you had fun with folks and I hope you have an awesome year!
