Humpday!

Scary Go Round seems to have changed its style. This saddens me slightly. I love the comic, but I really liked the old style better. Ah well.

I was playing with the LJ search engine, and it reminded me once again that fandom scares me. Why would you claim to love a canon character, and then create a whole community for re-writing the character the way you want to see her?

It also turns out someone made icons with text from one of my fics, and did not ask me or let me know. And have now deleted their journal so I cannot go poke them about this.

And of course, I have been called perverse by some stranger on the internet, for writing Snape/Lupin slash. I apparently write 'crack worthy of daytime tv'. This amuses me to no end.

I've got Paycheck on in the background - I love this movie, and it's one the few Ben Affleck movies I enjoy - and I have fic I need to write and rooms to clean. I apparently will not be doing laundry, because even though saying 'I need to do laundry tomorrow' does not mean the washing machine will be free.

Just got finished adding all the new people who have friended me! Or, I should say almost all.

If someone friends me who has nothing in common with me, belongs to no communities I belong to, and shares no common friends with me, I am very hesitent to friend back. Especially if said journal has only me friended, or me and one or two other people. I've had some issues with LJ puppet accounts before, and I don't like to take chances. I do log IP addresses, but I'd rather avoid any potential messy business altogether. That aside:


Welcome to everyone who's just friended me recently! I'm in the middle of a relatively busy week, so I apologize for lack of anything interesting or meaningful or even vaguely fandom related. I'll probably be making a Sims post sometime soon, though! I am baffled and boggled at how huge my friends-of list has become.

I got a lot of cleaning done today, and I found more anime I didn't know I had. Is anyone familiar with the series 'Agent Aika', and is it any good? I apparently have a couple of episodes. I thought at first it was perhaps hentai, but it's not - it's 16+ - and it puts me in the mind og 'Burn Up'. Silly, off-colour humor, cute girls catching bad guys and using lots of snazzy gadgets, and lots of big boobs and panty shots.

And so much love goes out to zinjadu, for bringing me mochi and ramune! I can almost taste it already.

Sims!

Okay, I tried using an alternative host service for my pics, but I could not for the life of me figure out how to use it. So, unfortunately, this one is on photobucket until I can figure the other one out. But I am working on it! This is very image heavy, so beware.

This is not my usual Sims story, because due to various factors I have to actually play for a bit which leaves little things of interest happening. So, I present to you 'HBP Sims Theatre'!
