Scarcity and Other Monsters

This week is going to be so insanely busy for me, it isn't even funny. So please forgive my not being around much. I'll be keeping up with things as best I can. If you need me to see something, just bop me with it. I'll be around on my messenger services (AIM and MSN) as much as I can be, but I can make no promises. And I bet you're wondering how it can already be a long day at 9 in the morning. Well, it's going to be a long day, so sleepy-Yuki fits things well.

So last night, to wind down after a not-fun day, we watched some movies. Ocean's Twelve, which was better than I'd thought it would be, and American Psycho which my housemates didn't like as much as I'd thought they would. I love that movie, and I'm gearing up to read the book. I've heard it's horrifically graphic to the point where it would put Thomas Harris to shame.

I was vastly amused that the day after Silence of the Lambs was on TV, there was a reference to it in PVP.

And I think I'm a bad web comic fan. I actually think I like Friendly Hostility better than Boy Meets Boy. Which Sanra Fuhr is still tagged as being the author of, though as it was her longer running and more successful series, I can understand. I read an interview with her in a guide to gay and lesbian comics, and I was surprised to see her there. She was the only web comic artist/author featured. I know her art's not great, but I really love her characters, and I'm glad she's still writing/drawing.

I really need to get caught up on Tactics. I don't have much further to go, and I need to see the end. I just haven't had the time. Time, time, there's never any time.
