Hedgehog Help

Alan Rickman proves yet again what a brilliant and versatile actor he is. And there's a scene where he's playing pool with a loosened tie. It's an emotional movie, and there are some bloody bits (it is about heart surgery) but I felt it was worth it.
Hermione has been keeping me up every night for the past two weeks. It's down to a routine at thi point. She comes out of her little house at around midnight, hunts her meal worms, eats what's in her bowl....and then decides to take her bowl and bash it against her rock. A thick ceramic bowl being banged against a flat sandstone rock by very strong hedgie jaws makes a damn loud racket. So I take the dish away. But this means that I've been woken up by it, and have to turn on the light and get out of bed to do this. And then she pitches a royal fit.
She has a jingly ball that until two weeks ago she'd play with all night. It was pretty much the only toy she liked. She showed no interest in a wheel or anything she could push. Now I'm at a complete loss as to what to do. She can't play with her dish, or I won't get any sleep. But she needs a new toy.
Any other hedgehog owners out there with a suggestion?
