I resurface briefly!

Life has been exhausting, as I am sure is no surprise. My mother's walking again, but with a cane. She is on the mend, though!

I have been slowly settling into this weird routine of house vs barn work. At the very least, I have finally gotten a raise, and may actually be able to set money aside after medication and gas!

And today I switch over from horse duty to dog duty! I'm house/dog sitting for friends for a week, which will be a blessed change. I'm hoping to de-hiatus! *fingers crossed*

I do wish that my body wasn't in a constant state of 'fuck you!' right now, but if wishes were buttercakes and all of that.

I need to get back to packing and cleaning. After I rest from picking the corral.
