MY CABBAGES!!!!!!

Goodness I've been busy!

I got a great deal done over the weekend, but I really kicked it into high gear yesterday. I went into town in the morning to get gardening things and dessert supplies. Upon returning to Venture Industries I immediately began putting together a chocolate mousse cake. My mousse came out good. Not great, I need some more practice with getting it completely smooth, but it came out good. While it was baking I got my chamomile set. I need to hold off a bit on getting the amaranth and aubergine basil into the soil, as the last frost date is set for the 22. But I may start indoor, like with my oregano and bay.

Sadly, I lost the cabbages. :/ They got left out during a frost and that was that.

After the cake was done I started on a roast chicken dinner with summer squash, baked potatoes, salad and rolls. Then it was time to dip various organic fruits in organic chocolate glaze! Strawberries and bananas came out well, raspberries...a touch too small.

Right now I've got orange sticky buns in the oven for brunch. I'm not sure how they're going to come out, as I did not like the way the yeast dissolved at all. It didn't foam too much, and the buns didn't quite double in size.

Today is a relatively quiet day, just need to do some laundry and the floors. Tomorrow is more errands and practicing bulk manufacturing. Thursday is...I don't know. Friday is going to New Frontiers and Mile High Brew Supply to price ingredients and micro-brew set ups.

But now I need to make the glaze for the sticky buns! And fry up some bacon...
