Go Team Go?

Superbowl party got canceled, which turned out to work out better because last night ended up a bad pain night. And I caught the first half of the game at home, then was able to tell what was going on simply by the neighbors. And their goat. Yes, even the goat was cheering along with them. And booing. Apparently there are some die hard football fans in the neighborhood.

I'm just glad they didn't riot when we lost. But The Cardinals put up a damn good fight, and while they didn't win....they made it to the Super Bowl and they played well in it. That's something to be proud of.

My view on sports is mainly this: I admire and respect the talent, skill and physical endurance needed to play these sports. I just don't particularly enjoy watching hours of it. So while I support the teams and want them to win, I find watching them actually do that boring as fuck most of the time.

And now it's Monday, and a new week (and month) have begun.

Things are going not horrible in real life, and diet and exercise are starting to show some results. I've been experimenting with cooking and it's paying off. Though right now I have a pot of bean dip and three packs of sausage products and nothing to do with them. I had some hot dogs over the fire last night, but there are many, many left.

I'll have to comb the net for recipes for those little tiny sausages. But right now there are dishes that need doing and counters that need wiping and surfaces that need de-cluttering and meals that need cooking.

I've accepted the fact I'm essentially a housewife without, you know, being an actual wife. And for some reason...this doesn't bother me any.
