Quick Recipes! Dessert and Lunch!
Jan. 10th, 2009 01:48 pmI got the base of this recipe from the
cooking com, but adjusted it. :D
1 cup chunky peanut butter
1/2 cup softened butter
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup hot chocolate mix
1 cup sugar
Beat together peanut butter, vanilla, and butter until well blended. Combine cocoa and sugar then stir in. blend well. Roll into 1" balls and place on wax paper. Chill in the fridge until firm.
They're extremely simple, very quick, and taste absolutely delicious.
And today for lunch I wanted something a bit more fancy than the usual salad and sandwich. I had some breaded frozen chicken patties in the freezer, so I cooked two of them, ground some chipotle flakes into powder and mixed it with some mayo, spread the chipotle mayo on a tortilla, added some monterey jack and cheddar shredded cheese, cut the patties into strips and put them on the cheese, rolled it up and grilled it lightly. Delicious.
I've basically decided that since we can't afford to eat out, I'm just going to have to make restaurant style and quality food at home. :D
I may not be able to get a job or a date, but by god I'm going to keep a beautiful, clean home and cook delicious food for the household.
