Put On A Happy Face!

Not only did I get my permit this morning, I had my first driving lesson!
Apparently I am a safe and competent driver. This pleases me. J is dead set on me getting my license within a month. We'll see what happens!
Thank you everyone for the well wishes, good thoughts, crossed fingers, all of it. I was much calmer this morning, and I took three lucky items (panda earing, pirate cameo and Totoro) and just told myself not too worry, no pressure. And I only missed 2 questions out of thirty.
Then on the way home I had an impromptu driving lesson. What does what, making the car go, making it stop, steering, turning, etc. I never went more than 10 MPH, but I did everything perfectly, even stayed in the imaginary 'lines'. This does much to dispel the dread that I'll be a horrible driver.
HUZZAH!
