Make The Best of What's Still Around....
Jan. 7th, 2008 12:07 pmStill feeling mostly miserable. Argh, I hate this. Even my humidifier isn't helping. I'm all achy and headachy and I don't even want to smoke. Now that's when you know it's bad.
And we have a severe snowstorm warning until 5 pm today. There's snow out there already, I guess we got it last night, and more on its way. Joy upon joy. I can barely think.
Sims Artist Union won't be back up and running until the 15th.
So...Greatestjournal finally went s'plodey. I was wondering when it would, and I can't say I'm surprised. I'm glad I found IJ, and I'm glad I use IJ for all my non-![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
damned RPing. Good service, easy to navigate website, 100 icons free - yes, for RP, that's a huge draw. I mean, I grumbled and groaned when I woke up and found my Lust account back down to just 30 icons. IJ? No issue there! Plus, complete customization options.
My only complaint is that with the death of GJ, there is an influx of inarticulate, keyboard mashing, shift-key allergic teenagers who think Paris Hilton is the height of cool. But it's easy enough to ignore them. And I have met some amazingly cool new people over there, and am pretty good with keeping both my IJ and LJ updated.

nekokoban and I were video game heroes, and we were having trouble getting money for our quest, and we had to go begging at temples, but none of us would give us money except one, that gave us a Temple Star which meant all money donated would go to us, and we had to fight a dragon and it was really hot and we weren't dressed right and we had to walk from Nevada to Mexico - in like, samurai gear? - and there was a caravan and then everything changed and I was an FBI agent and I had to infiltrate ANTM, and my teeth started falling out....
I think I made out with Kim, though. Kim is hot.
