The Aftermath....
Dec. 26th, 2007 10:08 amAt least with Christmas, there is an abundance of yummy crackers. And chocolate, which will come in handy later when I hit cravings. And I have a happy tub of bath oil beads for a hot bath to hopefully help ease my cramps.
And hey, I have a shiny new emulator! And a rom of Phoenix Wright! So I can finally play this damn game that over half my Flist is nuts about. I tested it to make sure it works, and it does. I just need to figure out how to use my emulator, since the instruction file is in foreign.
I caught some CSI last night. I really don't care for any of the characters, the authenticity is terrible, I cringe every time anyone does anything official.... but I still found myself watching three episodes and wanting to know what happened. And will probably watch more. Spike TV has a marathon coming up.
I also ordered two bath bombs and two bubble bars from LUSH with my gift card! Old favorites - Big Blue and Pop, and two new ones which were highly recced on the community - Youki-Hi and Creamy Candy.
I am trying very hard to resist an impulse to buy a used PSP from the local Gamestop. They have them for just around 100$, and as much as I desire the little thing - there are games I want for it badly - the memory cards, games and everything else are so expensive that I fear it wouldn't be worth it. I may just get an actual DS. We'll see.
Of course, most of my Christmas money will be going to necessities. A new cane, bills, medical needs, fixing my bathroom..... but damnit, I'm going to buy at least one fun thing with it! Even if it's just a new video game. Or something. And I really hope with all my other expenses I can afford the shirt I need for one of my costumes.
Ah well. I am just sick and tired of being stressed and upset, so I'm just not going to be stressed and upset anymore. Let's see if this tactic works!
