I've experienced the most strange thing this evening.
It's like... moving back into a house you left years ago. You're excited and a little nervous, because it's familiar but it's new at the same time. Even if maybe the house has been painted, and maybe some furntture's been moved around, it's still the same old house. And you loved living in that house, even though there were some bad times. Because there were so many good ones, too.
But then you get in and you start worrying. Are you going to remember where you keep the cigarettes? Will you be able to call to mind what tea is always kept in the tea box? Where is the scotch hidden?
And then you remember: the bottom right-hand desk drawer, Darjeeling, and right next to the cigarettes. And you wonder how the hell you could ever have been worried about forgetting.
