A Return to Social Gaming!
Apr. 15th, 2007 12:11 pmIt all started when my folks and I got home from shopping - groceries and a new wireless card since mine broke. They'd finished with Devil May Cry 2 yesterday, so my dad was asking me for PS2 games. I don't have many they haven't played, so I was frantically searching and tossing out games. I had Xenosaga in my hands, but my dad had already found a game.
"What's this?" he asked me, holding up Kingdom Hearts.
"Oh, that's Kingdom Hearts," I replied.
"Yeah, I've heard of it, it's a popular one. What is it?"
"Uh...it's an RPG. Think Final Fantasy meets Disney."
"I like Final Fantasy and Disney...." He promptly puts Kingdom Hearts into the PS2 and has been playing for the last two hours. It's actually a really good game for both my folks. My dad loves games with real time fighting and action, my mom loves games with intensive plots and characters. They're both happy. And since I haven't played through the game since Seattle, I'm enjoying hanging out with my folks while they play.
Also, I am back online after last night's wireless card malfunction. Huzzah!
Also? It's Pub Night!
