I just checked my Flist and only had to go back one page. I refreshed, thinking there was something wrong, and then realized: no, Fey, nothing's wrong, you only checked your Flist about four and a half hours ago.

I didn't mean to stay up until the wee hours of the morning. Not on a night before work. I even said to

akira_chan 'I should go to bed early tonight'. I was fully planning on going to bed around ten or eleven, to be prepared for Early Morning of Doom this morning.

But then I got a comment on my LJ from

mehitabelcat and ended up talking with her until the wee hours of the morning. 'Who is

mehitabelcat?' you may be wondering. I was wondering the same thing, last night, actually. And the answer to that question blew me away. I will make a long story short for the moment, because I'm sure no one wants to read a wandering monologue reaching back to the years of Fey's youth. Long story short: as it turns out, thanks to the LJ Schools Directory feature, one of my absolute best friends from High School found me. Completely randomly but oh-so-awesomely.

And even though it's been years and years since we last spoke, it was sort of like we'd just been talking yesterday. So even though it is super early in the morning and I have a day of work ahead of me, I am not sleepy and I am in a wonderful mood.

Watched the FMA OVAs yesterday. Raw, but that was alright. I really don't need to know what the chibi one says, and would probably be better off now knowing. The Ed's Grandkids one... holy crap, that made me tear up. Seriously. In a good way, though. And the Sins one was awesome, because dude, all of the Sins together again. Kind of. More or less. I want a screencap of Lust from when she's standing in line with all of the others, because damn did she look good.
