Third day this week at work. But then I'm off until next Friday, and this pleases me. I know I haven't been commenting and responding to comments very well, but this has been a long week for me.
Apparently the script of the fourth Indiana Jones movie is finished. I don't know whether to be frightened or excited, in all honesty. Harrison Ford is happy with the script, though.
lennaofmidearth was wearing BPAL today, so as normal I went to sniff her wrist to smell it. Instead of a pleasing aroma of Thalia, I got a shock and ended up with an actual spark up my nose. It was tingly and unpleasant.
I have something very special to post later, when I am on my home computer. Because today is a very special day. It is
mikazuki's birthday! And while she isn't very big on birthdays, she knows that I am and that I cannot let the day pass by without comment. Sadly, she is offline due to computer problems at the moment but everything will be here for her when she gets back.
It is gray and cloudy today, and the weather people say we will get more snow. I am already sick of snow.
I'm re-reading a bunch of Stephen King stuff, and remembering why I like him so much. Beyond his way with words, beyond his ability to make me feel, beyond the images that he paints with his words, it all comes down to the little details. I gew up in New England, in the places where most of his books take place. And every little detail, every signpost, store, T-line and all the rest just makes me grin.
I really need to make an appointment to get my hair cut.
Yes, this entry is rambly and disjointed. My brain is rambly and disjointed today.
