A Messy Kitchen is a Happy Kitchen

More Christmas gift fic will be posted later today!

I picked up a Borelli one serving pasta dinner today - three cheese tortellini - and am eager to see if it's any good. Mondays and Tuesdays I get home late and am on my own for dinner, and I can only eat steak so many times in a row. So I think I'll whip this up for lunch and try it, and if it's any good I shall stock up on a couple of varieties. They had cheese and garlic ravioli and some other stuff, all of which sounded yummy.

It is very difficult to go easy on chocolate when suddenly there is more chocolate in the house than in most small chocolate shops. And I suppose I'm not helping by baking caramel turtle brownies, but ah well. I want to bake brownies. The very fancy baking mixes were on sale so I grabbed two of them. Christmas is the time of baking!

I am falling prey to winter illness, my head all stuffed with cotton and my nose all stuffed with other things. I am arming myself with dayquil and juice and tea.

Also, we got iced tea. Finally.

Fey's New Layout!

Yeah, I changed my journal layout.

The main reason was because I was sick and tired of having to constantly X out of my LJ or minimize it whenever anyone walked into my room or where I work or if I left my computer unattended for a few minutes. As nice as it is to see two half naked women touching and kissing, it's technically not work/child/family safe. Also, for the people who look at my journal in places that less-than-work-safe images may not be appreciated. So I've switched to something that's perfectly safe for anyone to see and just as appealing for me to look at.

All the new text (comments, journal title, icon text etc) is from the Nightwish song 'She Is My Sin'.

Now I just need a mood theme, and I'm set.
