Sunday Morning Ramblings
Nov. 6th, 2005 09:06 amI finished reading Howl's Moving Castle last night. It was a really, really fun read. I like books that have happy endings and that leave me feeling good, and this fit the bill perfectly. It was quite a bit different than the movie, but I enjoyed them both equally. I'm very glad I picked it up last weekend.
Last night,
lennaofmidearth and I finally broke out her Harsh Realm dvd set. It's been years since I saw that show, and we were both surprised to see that the main villain - Santiago, a crazed super skilled Army General who's convinced it is his fate to rule a virtual world - was played by none other than Terry O'Quinn, and looking almost exactly like he does on Lost. Just with a mustache. I'd forgotten what a good show that was. I love Chris Carter, and I wish Fox hadn't given it the axe as quickly as it did.
I downloaded a bunch of Xmas music yesterday. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
I ot a very good night's sleep last night. I think I'm making spaghetti and sausage for dinner tonight, but I'm not sure. I'm not really in the mood for it. I'd rather do something with chicken.
