Video Games and Books
Jul. 25th, 2005 02:19 pmYesterday's Penny Arcade strip brought up a very good point. There aren't many good summer release games this year. At least not for console gaming. It's a bit of a let down, really. There aren't any computer games I'm really looking forward to, either, other than the elusive Fallout 3. Which may or may not even come to exist.
Ah well, I have my RPGs. Which I've really been enjoying lately. I love playing Kingsley over at TLT. Not only is he a fun character, he's an outlet for all of my useless criminal investigation knowledge. Speaking of....
Is anyone familiar with the true crime works of John Glatt? He keeps coming up while I'm searching for books, and his stuff is really cheap. But it also seems kind of....trashy, for lack of a better word. More tabloid sort of stories than anything good. I don't like reading garish or embroidered accounts, I'm just interested in the clinical facts.
I also spent last night writing up a blurb on the Femmeslash Revolution - which started out as a joke, but has become something actually pretty big. Or that I hope to become big.
Now I'm off to take care of some emails, and search for more books.
