Sunday, Sunday.... (Book review and a Drabbe)

So, I read Middlesex yesterday. It was a gripping and compelling book, but despite the narrator's promise of ending on an upbeat note, it ended on a rather sad and depressing note. I enjoyed it, and I'll read it again, but it left me on a bit of a downer. Very good book on gender and sexual identity, though. If het incest squicks you, I would suggest not reading it.
