I know a few people on my Flist are looking for new RPGs, and there's the chance that there are folks I don't know of who are looking, so I'm plugging Infusco Bonitas again. We're AU, Harry's seventh year just ended, there's a handful of students from the past running around, we're active, have been around for going on two years now, have plenty of character spots open including Draco Malfoy, Percy Weasley, Fred and George, Neville Longbottom, Mad Eye Moody, Kingsley Shacklebolt, and a whole host of others. The game is active with plots that range from light and silly to very dark. There's pretty much something for everyone. The mods are great and encourage player activity and player plotting, there's lots of opportunity for action, and it's very easy to get involved in. And the action is spread out! The Order, Death Eaters and the Ministry are all active. And I have never seen a larger group of IC characters in any game I've been in. Not to mention a good balance of het and slash.

Don't let the length of time it's been around fool you! Everyone is always quick to help new players catch up. So if you're looking for a journal based HP game, I definitely recommend checking it out.

So I finally broke down and made one filter for communities, and one filter for actual journals. Yay, filters.

I can order the Tactics manga extremely cheap over Amazon. But, I am wavering. I've heard all the complaints about ADV before, and my reasoning was always 'I don't know Japanese anyway, how would I know if the translation was that poor?' But when [livejournal.com profile] nekokban informed me that ADV accidentally switched the genders of two of the characters (Sugino and Moo-chan) I did a bit of a double take. That's pretty bad. Speaking of Tactics, it is the most slash-tastic anime I have seen yet. And Youko? I'll take one of those, please. So cute! And cute without being fan service, which is a nice change.

Drabbles will be posted later today! I posted to [livejournal.com profile] snupin100 yesterday, and got a bit more of the writing I don't talk about done. The entire first part, actually.

Also have been kicking butt on Neopets. My ixi is one tough little bugger.

I've been on the shadier side of ill lately, and bored out of my mind. I tend to read when sick, but I've packed all of my books. Thank [insert diety here] that I remembered [livejournal.com profile] zinjadu's collection of Sandman. And a huge thanks to Sean Russel, whoever he may be, for his subscriptions to Maxim and Stuff. Two magazines full of satire, video game and movie reviews, and good looking women in their underwear.

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] zinjadu, I now have all fo Bleach and almost all of School Rumble. And [livejournal.com profile] nekokoban gave me Tactics. I am swimming in anime.

Does anyone know why no store carries Gravitation volume 2? I can't find it anywhere. Nor the first DVD of the anime, come to think of it.

Alright, I'm off to write drabbles. [livejournal.com profile] karasu_hime! You still haven't requested one. :D I'm also still thinking of what to request from [livejournal.com profile] ellid....

A Non-Spoilery Review Of ROTS From Someone Who Hated the First Two

So, yeah. That makes me feel a bit better about this movie. I know that some people are still skeptical, but after reading the review and the points it made, I am looking at this movie from a slightly different perspective. I hated the second one with a fiery passion. The first one was fun, but nothing to sing about. I've been looking at ROTS as a film to basically rape the dead corpse of Star Wars. And I am a die hard fan of the original trilogy, so it pains me. But.... We'll just see.
