Small Not-Rant
Jan. 4th, 2005 12:36 amI've been cruising journals, and I've been noticing something. People who put half or more of their journal user info in badly translated (insert language of choice here). Obviously if it's a native tongue that's something completely different. I'm talking about fangirl japanese, un-conjugated latin phrases strung together with no rhyme or reason, combinations of two completely different languages, and things that have obviously just been popped into a Babelfish translator and slapped up. This isn't as bad as the people who will splice it into their conversation/emails/applications/fan fiction, but it still annoys me.
What's the point of putting up user info that people can't read? This is my biggest complaint. I roam around LJ via interest searches, looking for fan fic and fan art. If I don't know what you do, how can I know if I want to friend you or not? Blargh.
