Watched The Bourne Identity last night. I was very pleasantly surprised. Matt Daimon can do action, and do it well. I've always been a fan of his, but it was nice to see him doing something a bit different. And it was just an all around damn good movie, if you like action thrillers.

Speaking of, this summer looks pretty good as far as movies go. I'm looking forward to I, Robot. And before anyone says anything, all that we've seen is trailers and synopsis'. There is no way to claim that it's completely ruining anything. You can't say 'oh, it's Hollywood and they've fucked up before, they'll do it again'. Just give it a chance.

As a lot of people have said about POA, you can't make a movie straight from a book. Certain things work as movies, certain things don't. Let's not get up in arms until the movie's out, okay?

I can't believe it's Thursday already. I feel like it's Tuesday.

I've missed the past two episodes of Kingdom Hopsital. I have the feeling if I tried to pick it up again I'd be hopelessly lost. With luck it will come out on DVD.

I really wish Stephen King would go back to writing horror like he used to. I just can't get into his more recent stuff. The last book I bought was 'Everything's Eventual', and it was good, but....

The stories just seemed a bit lacking. They weren't quite as gripping, weren't quite as thought provoking. They just didn't do it for me, so to speak. I still hail 'Ballad of the Flexible Bullet' as the greatest short story King ever wrote. The Stand's the best novel, IMO. I need to reread that, I think. I'd like to reread 'Rose Madder' as well. Definately one of his better novels, but not one that's well known. It was very surreal and very beautifully done.

I should go and do something productive....
