Seeking Sleep Aide....
Boiled milk with vanilla extract and cinnamon is nasty. But supposedly extremely helpful to cure insomnia, and is supposed to knock you out within half an hour. And as I have no valerian and haven't yet bought any kava, I'm desperate to try anything to get me to sleep.
And since we're on topic... Natural Insomina Remedies! Anyone have any tried and true cures for just not being able to sleep?

But no, my own not-sleeping issues demonstrate my lack of such a thing.
I wonder if putting that milk in oatmeal, with the cinnamon and vanilla (and sweetness) would work. Because then you would have not only boiled milk with cinnamon and vanilla, but also a pleasantly full tummy.

I used to drink it with black tea. Even with black tea, it was strong enough to make me drowsy.

For nightmares I have a glass of warm milk with some honey in it and some cinnamon toast with a touch of ginger.
Dunno if that helps or not.
Also, if you are a big caffeine drinker, a big cup of coffee might do you well. :hugs:
