Character Letter Meme

I was going to go into a frothy fit about the difference between drabbles and ficlets, but I've done that about a million times already. So instead, a meme ganked from all over. Yes, I've done it before, but I'm doing it again.

Leave a list of fictional characters in your journal that you would love to get a message from. It is your friend-list's mission, should they choose to accept it, to write you an in-character "letter" from a character on that list. Then they post their own list in their journal and the process continues! (Feel free to post anonymously too, or, in the case of my RP buddies, feel free to post using RP journals.)

And since it's my journal and I make the rules, feel free to comment on each other's letters.

To My Most Beloved Mistress Cori,

I fear that weather and other natural forces are against us! I wish that my bow could have been more use on this day, but I was driven to seek shelter from the ferocious rain and thunder! It does not sit well with me, as there are still many creatures that are in need of slaying! I can only be thankful that we were able to dispatch of some of them.
