A Random Gathering of Small Furry Thoughts....

I'm sitting here trying to figure out when my morning's became so 'adult', for lack of a better term. I get up, check my email, have my coffee and cigarette, check the stocks - almost all of ours have plummeted, irk - brush the cat - she's shedding like mad - put on the news to see what's happening, and then do a few chores before settling down to RP or whatever.

I'm not sure when this became my routine. I can still clearly remember when my routine was get up, turn on the computer, RP, write some fic, then get around to chores.

It's my folks' anniversary tonight, and they have decided not to go out to dinner, as it's Friday and the square is insane on Fridays. We'll be going out sometime over the weekend, and instead I'm making dinner for them - surf and turf! Ribs, shrimp, scallops and various sides.

I cleaned out the fridge this morning. We had bought a bottle of white wine a few months ago, for cooking. But I make very few dishes that call for white wine, and no one drinks it. So this morning I figured I'd dump it, since it's just taking up space. I dumped it out and was trying to think what I can use the bottle for, since I hate throwing things out if they could be used. I figured maybe I could use it for a cosplay. It's not like I can't think of a character or two who's used a bottle of white wine as a weapon. ;)

Speaking of.... Someone asked me yesterday why I didn't post my drugged out Henry/Eileen fic, along with my damned fic. Mainly because.... well, like so many people pointed out, the drugged up feel and flow of the 'fic' fits Alec, because... well, he was drugged out of his mind in the fic. Henry is not exactly a pot smoker, and that 'style' just doesn't work for him. That's why I only posted the one and not the other. Plus, it's in first person, and...sucks.

But hey, since it's the weekend, who knows what I'll end up writing? Oh, speaking of... I need to discuss RP plottings!

I use empty glass bottles for making dried flower arrangements. I don't drink, but I like the way bottles look.

Turning on the computer is still pretty much the first thing I do every morning. Couldn't do without.

Oh, yes! I've also used them for candle holders. But I've been idly toying with the idea of a Henry cosplay - I swear, I am planning at least one costume that isn't a character I RP - and his first weapon is a white wine bottle. So I think I may save this one for that.

I turn on the computer, but I usually wander off to exorcise and have my coffee and smoke, and then check the news and stocks and crap like that. I'm not doing a very good job of not growing up. ;)

I've been toying with the idea of Vincent cosplay. I'm bigger than he is, though... But I even though of sacrificing my hair to the cause. Just walking in to the salon, plunking down a pic of Vincent, and saying "Make me look dorky, please." (No offense meant to Vincent, of course.)

Meh, I'm not built like the most of the characters I cosplay. I've done that! I did it the first time I cosplayed Tamaki, before I had a wig. I've also done it with various J-rockers, because they have awesome hair and I was changing my style about every two months. :D

You remind me that I want to write another Henry/Eileen for 30_kisses. It might not be very upbeat though... but I don't know why I feel the need to point that out in Silent Hill!

Now I have a sudden urge to hit things with a wine bottle... Not people, things.

I think writing upbeat fic for Silent Hill is a challenge unto itself! :D

Hitting things can be very satisfying! I've got my wine bottle drying on the counter still.
