Return of the Happy Christmas Fairy

Good Morning, LJ!

Despite tossing and turning for a large portion of the night - the soap isn't working - I am feeling refreshed and awake right now. I lost internet last night and decided to just write and sew - I don't do that much else, really - until around midnight, and then I hauled myself to bed.

We're digging out Christmas decorations. The wood wicker deer are already set up, as well as the white suede cloaked Santa in his white bark canoe. (We don't have normal Christmas decorations.) I may be doing lights today. I'm doing the whole deck.

Last year was not the best. I was not the Happy Christmas Fairy. This year, I intend to be the Happy Christmas Fairy. I've got Christmas music on, I've been watching Christmas movies, I've been writing holiday-themed fic....

I should get dressed and clean up. I've made a mess of my workroom, I'm afraid!

If your troubled with leg cramps, it apparently helps to sleep with a string of whole wool yarn tied around your ancle. According to my grandmother, that is - I was never frequently enough troubled to really try.

I have horrible nocturnal leg cramps. Especially in winter. I'll have to try the whole wool yarn thing! I'll try anything at this point. Thanks for the tip!
