Wheee, this one looks like a fun one!

If you've ever watched your favorite DVDs, and then found yourself eager to hear exactly what the actors, directors, writers and even production designers thought about making the episode, the movie, or whatever - you'll know sometimes the best parts of DVDs are hearing the commentaries. Getting into an actor's feelings about the character they play, getting the background behind a writer's plans and metaphors, even just getting the stupid anecdotal stuff that makes you laugh, it's all good.

Ask me about any story, and I'll do a DVD commentary for it! Satisfy your curiosity!

Sure thing! The Al/Martel one I really don't have much to say about, though, so it will be a short write up.

Ooooh, OK! ^^ How about "Barely Cold in Her Grave?" ^____^ That was the story that first really introduced me to Sloth as an interesting and diverse character, so it's always been one of my favorites! :)

Haha, no, seriously. I'm just going to address the Ross question real quick right here, and I'll go into it deeper when I write up a commentary. Basically, I wanted to explore different aspects of my own experiences with being a lesbian, and for some reason Maria just clicked with me. Maybe because I had her 'look' for a long time - the same hair, dressed in clothing that wasn't very feminine, etc etc. So that's why I chose her to use.

I wondered if it was something like that. I totally understand one charactor just clicking in a certain way.

Hi - just signed up for a ficathon and wanted to ask if it was OK if my gift fic writer asked you about my tastes in femmeslash fic if they get stuck (I asked for femmeslash pairings and the ficathon requires us to name a friend "who can keep a secret", and you know more about my tastes in that area than most of my flist I think!) :D If it's inappropriate I won't name you. :) It's a pretty low-ratings exchange so they won't be asking any smut-related questions!
