An Amazing Discovery

So my dearest [livejournal.com profile] mikazuki and I were talking last night, and we got onto old shows we used to watch and how so many of them are coming to DVD. Count Duckula is on DVD, Captain N is coming to DVD, and Cori informed me of something I did not know and probably never would have found out on my own.

The Legend of Zelda 80s Cartoon is on DVD! All 13 episodes, bonus features, all of it in a lovely 3 DVD set. It is 20 bucks brand new from Amazon. I wantsss it, precioussss! I have all the episodes burned onto CDs, but they're crappy downloads with fuzzy quality and barely audible audio. But I cling to them, because this was my favorite show of all time. Princess Zelda was my first girl!crush ever. I wanted to grow up and be Link. And I never thought it would come to DVD, since it was just a short feature every Friday on the Super Mario Brothers Show. Which is also on DVD. But separately. LoZ gets its own DVD set!

Also, Animaniacs are coming to DVD. Get the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon out, and I will be content.

Who needs television anymore?

(And dude, if Zelda can come to DVD, Roar can come to DVD. Seriously.)

Yeah, and I know I've said more than enough about it to you to spoil you for some things. Which is a shame, but it doesn't seem to be decreasing your enjoyment of the series any. :D

There's one awesome site that has caps of all the ladies, and it's all organized by seasons. Lemme see if I can dig it up for you. It's where I got the cap for my Susan/Talia icon.

Indeed! And it's raining and I have work tomorrow. Yay porn! Mmmm, delicious porn.

Fortunately, my memory often sucks when it comes to things I don't know about, so I don't seem to have suffered any severe damage from what you've said. I spoiled myself worse by memories of articles in the old sci-fi magazines that I read, since I'd read the articles on stuff I hadn't watched after finishing the ones on stuff I had. It leads to funny stuff, though, since I spent the first several episodes misinterpreting the whole Sinclair and Delenn thing through the vague memory of references to Sheridan and Delenn. I still say it's up to interpretation whether her deal with him has overtones - I think Delenn's just obsessed with human men, myself. ;)

Awesome! Yes, if you could find the link to that it'd be fabulous. I've been skimming through the few archives I've found with my eyes half-closed, trying not to see anything 'bad.'

That's good that it's raining down there - it's been sunny and hot up here, but it might be starting to cloud up again a little, judging by today.
