Greed owns his own bar and club. He does quite well, and mingles with the patrons:

Lust invites him out for a date at his downtown club. He shows up, and is met with a toddler:

Unaware of what is going on, he sees Lust and goes to be all husband-y with her, which Greed doesn't like:

And then he attacks Lust:


Apparently he's pissed at Lust for cheating on him. With her husband. Greed has such wonderful logic.

I still don't get that. Scar seems to have no issues with the whole thing, oddly enough. Just Greed. It boggles the mind.
