Another Day....

So, what is Fey doing today? Making a square neckline for her cosplay outfit. I've got all the measurements done, I just need to actually do it. And I think I will drabble a bit today. It has been a very long time since I drabbled. I also need to finish up my Hughes ficathon fic, but I am nearly done so I am not worried overly much.

I need to add my website to my LJ links. It's essentially done, I just need to link a few pages together and add one more section. Yay, go me.

But for the moment I am going to enjoy my reheated biscuits and gravy (with shepherd's bread instead of biscuits) and poke around on the net for a bit. :D

Have fun with your dress project! ^_^ Is it the dress that Dante's wearing at the end of the series, or earlier?

I can't wait to read the fic you've got for the Hughes ficathon! Hughes deserves so much love it's not even funny. I need to give him more love in my fics because I've only written him twice. Is he hard for you? He's fairly easy for me, but still a bit on the complicated side for some reason.

Thanks! It's the red and white one. I want to do the end of the series gown, but I need a whole hell of a lot of practice before I tackle that one. Even if it is a lot simpler to make than it looks. I'll be posting pics of my costume soon. :D

Thank you! Hughes is easy for me. Him, Ed and Lust are the three characters that come to me the easiest. I don't even have to think when writing them at all.

wait, you're cosplaying Dante?? O.O Omg, how did I miss that in your other posts? ^_____^ wow! You want to know a huge coincidence?....I was thinking of cosplaying Dante this summer at Otakon. ha ha ha! I reached that decision when I looked at my new haircut and realized I wouldn't have to pay for a wig. (lol, but I'm scared about giving myself bangs :/)Is the costume challenging so far? I'm not the best at sewing...yeah, I was thinking of doing Lust, but I realized that was far beyond my abilities. ;) I'm not sure if I'll be able to go to the convention this year, though, since I'm spending most of the summer in California...but if my costume goes through, we really, really need to swap pictures! <3

Yup! It's a simple costume, and I have the right hair for it. Or I will, when I get a haircut. :D That's awesome! The costume I'm doing has been pretty easy. I started with a basic dress and made some adjustments to it, instead of starting completely from scratch. I will do Lust someday, since her dress is easy. But not until I have long hair again, or feel like buying a wig! :D Yeah, we definitely need to swap pics if you do it!

I hope we will get attention just because there are hardly ever any Dante cosplayers, ever.

yay for having the right hair for the costume! Because wigs are such a pain! :/ I'm going to have to dye my hair, but I don't mind that. ;) Too bad we won't be at the same convention (at least, I'm assuming we won't be...you live on the West Coast, right?) but, then again, I guess we should be spreading the Dante love at as many conventions as possible, right? ^_^

Speaking of which, I looked for a Dante chibi to adopt and they didn't have any. :/ I wonder why?? (lol!)

Lust's costume is easy? really? I looked at it and thought "there's just no way..." ^^ I guess logically I should do Winry, because I'm blonde and her costume is easy...but, then again, I really can't see myself as Winry. :0

My other option right now is Sloth/Trisha, which is what people recommended for me when I posted my pictures. But after I cut my hair, it didn't seem like an option anymore...

Yeah, that makes it so much easier. I've only done the wig thing once, and it really was a pain. Nah, I'm going to Anizonacon, which is a local convention down here. And yes, spread the Dante love!

Aw, that is too bad! Dante needs love, too!

I think the hardest part of Lust's costume would be finding the right color, since it's that green/black color. The pattern's a really simple one, though. It's one of the few costumes I'd be willing to put together from scratch, honestly. I would love to cosplay Winry at some point. I used to have the perfect hair, too! And I think her skirt and jacket/shirt outfit is adorable.

There's also crossplaying, if you don't mind doing that.

I'm fine with crossplaying. lol, except...umm...certain features of my body make it much easier to do Lust than Envy. ;) he he! In truth, I would absolutely love to cosplay Wrath, but I don't think it's possible for me. :/

Hmmm, that part that makes me worry about Lust's costume is the neckline. How does it stay angled like that? O.O I thought about sewing in a corset and leaving it partially open, but then I'd have to tape it to my boobs to keep everything in place! ^^ he he!

Is Cori going the the convention with you? She should be Rose...he he he! ^_^

Oh, they can be taped down, trust me. ;) *has strapped down her own 36Ds a few times* As long as you have the right stuff, any feminine attributes can be squashed flat. :D

My first choice would be to sew a strapless bra into the top, one of those cleavage enhancing ones with the wired support. I actually used to have a corset with that exact neckline. If I still had it, I'd just study that and figure it out.

Sadly, no, Cori isn't coming to this one. We do plan on cosplaying Ed and Al together, though. :D Rose's voice actress is one of the guests, though!

Ah! You must do alot of sewing, right? Because I never would've thought of that! Now I feel all inspired to do Lust...ugh, now I can't decide! he he! Good thing I haven't started my costume yet...Otakon isn't until August.

^___^ hopefully you'll be able to cosplay with her soon. Some EdxAl action is always appreciated...I wonder if I could talk my boyfriend into it? (lol, he likes yaoi, though, so it is possible!)

I use ace bandages and duct tape. :D So far it's worked. I think I have pictures, somewhere, of Halloween before last when I did it.

I actually don't do a lot of sewing, but I know a lot of people who do do a lot of sewing and costuming, so I've picked up a bunch of stuff. :D Osmosis, and all of that. ;)

I hope so, too! And she'd make an awesome, awesome Al. You should totally try that! :D

Yup! Rose and Riza were voiced by the same actress, actually. She and Hughes' voice actor are going to be there. :D
