Books!

So I've been doing a lot of reading lately. I'm trying to really get a good number of books under my belt this month. So far I've read:

Middlesex
Doc
A Love to Die For
and I'm halfway through Another Roadside Attraction

There's really no rhyme or reason to the books I read. I'll read almost anything, when you get right down to it. I've got plenty of books to go, also, not even counting the next Harry Potter book. lennaofmidearth and I are looking at the midnight release party for it, and we've pre-ordered our copy. I'll probably fall off the face of the net that weekend while I read it.

So.... what's the best book you've read lately?

I discovered Tom Robbins way back in High School, when my senior year Humanities teacher lent me 'Skinny Legs and All'. I loved that book. I grabbed Another Roadside Attraction, Cowgirls Get the Blues and Still Life with Woodpecker at a used book store a while ago.

I've heard some good things about Annie Dillard.
