Got my hair done, and now I am sick. Just the usual monthly illness, but it's still enough to put me out of commission for most of the day.

I went in to get my hair cut and have purple streaks put in. I dye my hair black - it's a dark strawberry blond naturally - and so I had to have the colour stripped before the highlights could be put in. So we do that, and we decide to put the colour all over, to give the black a quasi-purple sheen. Of course, my hair grabs the red in the purple highlights and the colour decides not to be stubborn, so now I've got dark purple/black hair with dark red streaks. I really love the effect though, and I'm happy it came out that way.

So, I used this new LJ search feature since it's popped up over my Flist. Dude, this is a scary and wonderful tool. Wonderful, because I found I'm being recced all over the place by people I don't know, and scary because... I found I'm being recced all over the place by people I don't know. ;) Apparently my Charlie/Lavender fic was very well liked.

It is fun to see where you crop up, but I can see this quickly becoming an invaluable tool for net stalkers. ;) Anyway, I am feeling better now. Thanks for the well wishes!
