Sims Adventures
The website I need to complete my Death Note sims is down for remodeling. Sadness.
So I played with my HBC Sims some more. And...yes. I'd forgotten about the dangers of the telescope!
They're clearly very much in love:
And Shadow turns a blind eye to Valyn's wooing of Shana:
Mainly because the three of them are never in the same place at once. And of course, Shadow has his little affairs:
He is very much infatuated with Triana. Keman does not approve:
After Keman is kicked out, Triana makes her move:
And keeps it up:
And basically makes Shadow her bitch:
Shadow, coming to his senses, flees:
Meanwhile, Valyn was abducted by aliens. I tried to get pics, but I forgot to pause. But there is no mistaking the after effects:
He tells Shadow, who seems cool with it. All is well:
Until Valyn decides to work in Shadow's hair salon while he's pregnant.
Someone doesn't know how to be discrete:
Shadow tries to apologize:
Repeatedly:
Finally, Valyn seems to accept that it won't happen again:
And just in time, because the baby has arrived!
And it's a bouncing baby....Voldemort?!?!

I do have two n00b-ish questions, if you wouldn't mind answering. One, how do you actually find the pictures you take in game? And two, how do get alien pregnancies going? :O

Not at all! I think it depends on the expansions you have, where the pictures are. Mine show up in 'Neighborhood > Storytelling' - for quality pics, you want to adjust the camera settings to 'large' size and 'high' detail quality. And the alien pregnancies happen if a Sim gets abducted by aliens, which happens at random while using the expensive telescope.
The first time it happened, I thought there was a glitch. There was a weird white light and then a sim was gone, and all the others were crying like the sim was dead, but their face was still on the family tree. A day later they were dumped on the lawn by the spaceship, confused and knocked up.

I REMEMBER! My Voldemort sim was all I could think of when I saw the baby. Get rid of the hair, change the eyes to red and it's him!

That baby is pretty freaky. I sort of like the eyes for some reason, but they're still creepy. And there's something up with his forehead in the last picture... What -is- that kid gonna look like later on? (And I can't help but wonder what -his- offspring would look like...)

BUT so -- do you remember the novel that we found hidden in the wall of the old house? The one who had a list of 20+ titles of "Save [Some Noun Or Other]"?
Turns out she's something of a plagirist! There's a F_W post about it, and I'm finding it a bit hilarious because I'm remembering the drunk read-aloud sessions of that book. :Db
