There's Got To Be a Hogfather!

So, last night and the night before, some local station - ION? - was airing the BBC live action Hogfather miniseries. This is vastly amusing to me, because day before yesterday while I was wrapping presents, we had six or seven wild pigs wander into the yard. With the snow and the boar-like critters, my mother made the joke that the Hogfather had stopped by early.

Then the miniseries comes on. I watched it. And...holy crap, I was impressed. Most of the dialogue was lifted word-perfect from the book. The characters? Looked like Josh Kirby's artwork. Especially the wizards. The acting was brilliant, Mr. Teatime was brilliantly disturbing, Susan was hot as all hell, and all in all it was just incredibly done. Does anyone know if this is available on DVD? Also, I've heard they're also doing Colour of Magic?

(And yes, I know the sad news about Terry Pratchett, but he's optimistic, so I am, too!)

Today I am baking eggnog cookies and a raspberry truffle cake. Assuming I can find my spring pan. If not, I shall check Nanny Ogg's cookbook and see if there's any Hogswatch recipes in there. :D

And does anyone know any good file sending sites for large (over 300MB) files? Megaupload hates me. :/
