This Is Why You Can't Get a Date

So I'm finally watching the first season of Criminal Minds. I came into this show somewhere in the second season. The first episode I saw was, I think, Empty Planet - the one with the anti-technology terrorist in Seattle. I didn't watch it regularly, I caught it when I remembered when it was on, and finally settled into it in the third season - I've seen every episode so far.

Why aren't more people watching this show? Seriously. In my opinion, it's the best crime drama I've seen so far. Also? It's as accurate as I've ever seen a crime drama. No, it's not perfect, yes, it's still riddled with mistakes that make me wince, but in comparison, this is the best I've seen.

I love the characters. I love the writing. I love the acting. I love the way it's filmed, the music, everything.

And while I'm not big on shipping for this show...once I'm caught up, I'm totally going looking for Garcia/JJ fic.

Also? Someone on that writing team has got to be a fan of The Who.

I used to watch the show with my mom before my grandmother's stoke. It's a pretty good show. I'm sorry to say that I haven't been able to catch it since then.

(And I did a stupid thing, and browsed the fic community, and had to run away when I realized every single slash fic involves one [or more] of the team on top of Reid. Why is he the bitch boy of fandom? WHY?)

I watched it sporadically in the first season because froda_baggins does not tolerate me not being around when she wants me to be. XD But once I got a laptop and could veg in front of the TV with it, I started watching every single week. It's really such a great show. The cases are interesting and the characters are wonderful. \o/

It is! I'm so glad I found it. I don't watch that much TV these days, but there are still a couple shows I won't miss.

Oh, I really love CM. It's one of the few shows I can watch episodes one after another and not need to take a break. I'm not caught up on this season yet though, they're just sitting on my hard drive, tempting me :D

I love this show. Unfortunately I have class when it's on so I've only gotten to see two eps this season, but eventually I will catch up and it will be incredible once I do (and I learn to never, ever take a night class again).

I came into the show when Garcia swore revenge the guy who hacked into FBI headquarters and wrecked her online RPG before Garcia could bag her prince.... Priceless...

I went to the CM femslash community... and it's all Elle/JJ. :( Not that I have anything against them or anything, but... where's the Garcia/JJ love? I see so much more chemistry between them than I ever did between JJ and Elle.

Really? I was rather particle to Reed Giddeon. That slashy side to me. But LOL Garcia/Reed, he'd so be the unke. But JJ/Garcia would be very very cute! OMG sooo cute!

I got hooked because of Garcia. Mainly because she was a positive female geek and very very awesome. And the RP stuff really hit home. Great fun!

LOL BTW I was thinking about your B-5 Crossover when today, in my Who RPG, the player for the Doctor, takes Ed to (mind you I've said nothing about this to the Doc's player) to B-5 for his first off the planet trip (they're kind of sort of dating mind you, well sort of for two clueless guys). I almost said to her, Damn, I know someone who did this fanfic.....

It was just very fun.


LOL Where is this femslash community, because I would LOVE to see some fics.

I've watched and loved from episode 1. It took me a while to like the 'characters' but the show struck me as interesting and different.

I've not found any fic :) that I've really thought 'wow' so if you find any..........
