Dear Lordy, What A Day

Instead of talk about things that are going on here, I'm going to tell you about the dream I had last night. Trust me, you'd much rather hear the dream.

So, I was apparently a Sith in training, and was at an orientation kind of thing. Which seemed to consist of hanging out in a cocktail lounge attached to the bridge of the Death Star. We were watching the bridge stuff, and we were all watching Darth Vader and were all in awe. There were all these tv screens everywhere, and first they showed an evacuation video - entitled 'What To Do If There's Only 2 Seconds To Live' or something - and I was with this other person and we were apparently supposed to be blowing up an elevator shaft or something. Then we all gathered around the TV screen in the lounge, because Darth Vader was leaving and we weren't allowed to look at him. But there was an ad for Pokemon on the TV, and Darth Vader stopped and said he loved Pokemon, and then said he wished he had a Dinobot pokemon. And I had one in my pocket apparently, so I gave it to him, and he was all happy.

I hope you enjoyed this installation of Fey's Really Fucked Up Dreams.

btw, we are thinking of adopting a ferret. My personal inclination is shelter/rescue, but I was wondering what you thought. Do you recommend going to a breeder?

It really, really depends. Shelters are awesome, and you can find loving companions, but on the downside, they often have health problems and need a lot more attention than a ferret from a breeder. If you do go the shelter route, I'd definitely say get a pair, as shelter fuzzies most often need a constant companion. A little one from a breeder, raised alone and with all the attention you guys can give, doesn't need that constant friend.
