Don't You Know Me Kansas City?
I am safe and sound! And crashed insanely early last night, due to being awake for a very long time and wiped out from traveling. I didn't even bother with my 'Funny Travel Stories' last night. And honestly, most are just frustrating, but one is funny.
Alright, I'm used to the Southwest Terminal, and the Southwest Staff. Who don't try to strike up a conversation or play 'I'm your friend!' with me. They do their job, wheel me to the gate, and then leave me. These ones? They kept talking to me. And apparently the only thing that could think to ask me about was my Fullmetal Alchemist bag. Which led to first me trying to explain anime to this tiny old wheelchair attendant, which in itself was hilarious. Then there was The Really Not Brigh Flight attendant who just saw my necklace and asked if the flamel symbol had religious symbolism. So I said no, it's actually and alchemical symbol, and was starting to go on to explain it's a symbol featured prominently in a television series I like, when the flight attendant talked over me and asked, in all seriousness:
"Oh! I know what that is! So are you an alchemist? Are you headed to an alchemy convention or something?"
I found myself stunned and unable to respond. I think I just mumbled no and prayed that someone used their call button so she would go away from me. I was asked if I was an alchemist. Wow.
And also, there is nothing sweeter than 'five unsecure wireless networks in your range'.
