TV And Stuff

So, I've done a little bit of TV watching, thanks to the wonders of the internet. Here is my take:

It's X-men meets LOST. Not saying this is a bad thing, but it's X-men meets LOST. The first episode didn't grab my attention very much. I love Hiro, and Suresh is pretty cool, but it left me with a 'eh, it's got some potential feeling'. The second episode grabbed me a bit more. I knew what was going to happen to Artist Dude, due to a small snippit of conversation I had with my sister. I like the cop they introduced, though. And for some reason, I don't trust the little chick that knew Suresh's father.

Didn't like how creepy-gorey it got. I just didn't think there was a need for that. But, eh. I'll keep watching, as long as I can get my hands on the episodes.

Okay, LOST, you've won me back. You upped the WTF meter nicely this time around, and I really like this whole Others plot. Also, Sawyer is win. I could use less of Kate, because I can't stand her, but what can you do. And Evangeline Lilly still needs to eat a damned sandwich. She'd be pretty if she weren't so damn scrawny.

Jack... gets stupider every episode. I used to like him! Then he became all King of the Island and I Can Do Anything and I stopped liking him. And I still don't like him. Henry/Ben creeps me out, in a very good way. Juliette is interesting, and I'll give her time. I am still sad over losing Ana Lucia, because I liked Ana Lucia. It was really nice to see a strong, tough woman who didn't use her sexuality to get her ahead. She used her brain and her wits and her skills. But Juliette seems interesting, and I like the whole 'we know all about you' thing.

Next weeks episode looks awesome. Gah, Sun! *wibbles*

Also, I really want the ending song for Trinity Blood. Broken Wings, I think it's called, and I just think it's so pretty. Opening song I am not to keen on, but the ending theme... gah, so pretty! It reminds me of the Tactics opening theme, oddly enough. And that's one of my favorite opening themes ever.

I think the general consensus seemed to be "Hiro is adorable" haha, though I sat there watching it and hearing all their lines exchanged in Japanese and ignored the subtitles going "This is just like watching what I normally watch!" And YES the cop dude. I love him. I loved him on Alias. Now I'm all meep over what will happen to him though. However? I still think Jericho is better. :P

Sawyer totally wins. Although I wonder what they did to Kate. I know what they hinted at and you know what Sawyer thinks they did to her, but... meep. And I want to know if Carl's a plant or real. And Jack... has become more of a pussy, yes. If that's possible. Bastard. And I miss Ana Lucia, too. I loved her and the blond chick who was close with Hurley, I really enjoyed them. I'm hoping Juliette keeps being intyeresting. And yes, Henry/Ben creeps the hell out of me :P

Yay for finally good tv haha.

He is! Hiro is so damn awesome. I like him the most. And I think the cop dude could easily become one of my favorites. Poor guy! He doesn't know people aren't talking out loud! Haven't seen Jericho yet, sadly. But Lenna raves about it!

Sawyer is awesome! Yeah, me too. I'd really like some confirmation. But with this show.... Yeah, I was wondering that. And oh god, Jack. Enough with the Jack already! I want to throttle him! Libby! Yes, Libby was cool, and I wanted to know her backstory! Damn actresses going and getting DUIs. :/

Hehe, yesh, Lenna left me a comment when I was gushing about it, because we've not seen anyone else gushing yet and go O.o over the fact because it's awesome. And yes, I loved Hiro the most, and the cop guy. The rest kinda annoyed me so far. :P

Hahaha, I know! And I wanted to know why she was in with Hurley and the numbers dude. Ah well, Lost is renowned for keeping us all in suspense. Although I cheated last season and didn't watych it till all the episodes were out and then I watched them straight through in a weekend, hahaha.

ITA! Heroes seems to have potential and I'll keep on watching it since I don't have to go out of my way to do so. And as for Lost, last season was so up-and-down that I was losing faith, but my hopes are definitely up for this season, after that premier.

One thing, though: "It was really nice to see a strong, tough woman who didn't use her sexuality to get her ahead." Except for that one time when she fucked Sawyer to get his gun. XD

Yeah, Heroes looks like it's getting good. I wasn't too impressed with the first episode, but the second one was much better. And oh yes, Lost has got me back watching.

Wow. That right there says how much attention I was paying to season 2. *completely and totally forgot about that*

I've been meaning to catch HEROES because it looks kind of shiny. I might have to beg episodes off of you? If you download them, that is.

We are in agreement about Kate, Sawyer and Ana Lucia. (I had been hoping for a Ana Lucia/Sawyer after they first met, but alas, he seems to like the push overs.) But as for Jack, I like how this episode brought him down a bit. He's started to realize, no, he is not the King. Mr. Eko is the King, with his Jesus stick.

Henry/Ben = awesome evil dude. Like Napoleon! Tiny and horrible!

Sun. Sun with a gun. Jin too. Hot couple with guns. Happy making! 8D
