Let Me Be With You....

Okay, first off? Why is there bone deep pain all through my right arm? From my elbow it makes a burning twisting line along the side to my pinky - flaring at the wrist. I must have slept on it wrong or something, but it's insanely unpleasant.

I need to stop reading things I know will just piss me off. (But I do it every day, so I suppose I will never learn.)

All the emails and whatnot I owe people will be going out today and tomorrow. I know I owe some people stuff from like... weeks ago. I suck.

As Trinity Blood is taking a while to torrent, I popped in Chobits to get caught up. Made it to episode 17. Chii is adorable. I love her white and blue dress, it's the cutest thing ever. I want her white and blue dress. I'm enjoying the series, but I'm at the point where I want to find more things out. Chii being Chii and Hideki being Hideki is adorable and whatnot, but I want to see some serious plot movement. That doesn't involve weird, technically illegal relationships.

I think what's surprising me about Chobits is that all I'd heard is that it was just a silly, goofy show with lots of fan service. And, well, I don't see it that way. Yes, there's a lot of silly fluff, yes there's oodles of fan service, but the core themes of the show are pretty heavy and deep. An old and cliched plot? Oh yes. But it's got a new twist and is presented in an original way.

The theme song refuses to leave my head, however. I thought the School Rumble theme was bad...

Prepare for massive amounts of fic throughout the day. I'm playing Catch Up with my writing!

A lot of Chobits was very fluffy. You don't get to the darker, deeper themes till the very end, and when I watched it, I felt like they had aaaaall this sap and then DROPPED the plot on your head in the last few episodes, haha. They hint on it, but I wished they'd spent more time delving into it and exploring more of it rather that dragging out all the cutesyness of it. It was a decent series, though. And yes, Chii's outfits are the cutest things ever.

You know, I was kind of afraid of that. I thought we were starting to get development when the picture of Chii showed up, and then when she did that weird thing where she was like... talking to herself. And then it went back to the cute fluff. Which I do like, but I'm itching to find out where Chii came from!

You find out, and from what I remember, it didn't really leave any questions hanging, but I do remember wishing that you'd actually gotten to see more of it. I like the twistiness of the plot once they DID get to it, hehe

WEE!
Have fun. I'm here if you want to chat.

Thanks! I'm purposefully isolating myself right now so I can actually get done the things I need to. I've been ridiculously procrastinate-y the passed few weeks for some reason.

Oh heavens I completely understand. I tried to do that last week when writing.

*HUGS*

There is so much stuff to do, just around the house or getting things together and AIM takes so much bloody time. I find myself getting too involved and not getting anything done. Especially writing, and I have projects up the arse. It's the great evil for me when I RPG... Chatting... And I'm so bloody weak!

If you don't mind, I have a quick RPG question.
I wanted to know if Al and Cloud could show up at the end of the Ed/Hoho thread? This way they can walk in while they are drinking. There is no rush on it and if they did show it would be very late, when you two were done with what you were doing in the thread.

If not, they will meet with Ed on his way out.

There really is. It's always something. I'm partially caught up now!

I don't mind at all! It'd probably be good for Al, actually, considering the direction the thread seems to be taking. The last time he saw Ed and Hoho together was the Big Yelling Family Fight. As long as the E-word doesn't come up, Hohenheim's fine.

Great! I got work done too actually! Wee!

Ok, cool just send the link to the thread when you feel its a good point for Al and Cloud to enter.

Al was in a fight, he's all worried. It should be rather cute.

Could you have slept on your arm wrong? That makes my entire arm - muscle, bone, etc. - hurt for hours after I wake up.

We have a name for reading things we know will piss us off. It's called Train Wreck Syndrome. :D

[identity profile] theladyfeylene.livejournal.com 2006-09-17 08:36 pm (UTC)(link)
That's the only thing I can think of - it's started to fade now, but it was killing me at first!

I'm so horribly prone to it. And it doesn't help that there are two comms I belong to that at least once a day contain posts that push my buttons. :/

Aww, I'm sorry you're feeling sick! D:

I've always wanted to see Chobits! Everybody says it's good. :)
