Lush Reviews

Lush reviews! I've fallen a bit behind.

There is one major complaint I have about the dry desert weather. My skin, under the harsh desert sun, cracks and dries. And so I turned to Butterball, full of shea and ylang-ylang and other natural goodies that soften, moisten and firm skin.

The first thing that hit me was the smell. Butterball has a rich, warm and almost foody scent. As it dispersed in the hot water - as hot as I could stand, for the bits of special moisturizer needed to melt - the scent wafted up and enveloped me. A good start.

As the ballistic continued to shed itself into the water, I could feel the water change. Thicken, almost. I was literally being coated in something, and it felt good.

I stayed in the bath for nearly an hour. When I got out, I was amazed. I was silky and soft and smelled like something I can't quite put my finger on. And the effects lasted.

I don't recommend this one if you're sensitive about water and how it feels. The water did get a bit oily, which was fine with me but I know might be off-putting to others. But for giving your skin an intensive session in moisturizing and softening, Butterball is the way to go!

If the gods used soap, this is the soap they would use. It is divine. Seaweed extract, sea salt, softening oils... I have never felt more clean and scrubbed in all of my life. The sea salt exfoliates while the seaweed softens and smooths, and the overall effect is like getting an expensive spa treatment in your own tub. This is the greatest soap ever made.

Also, it smells like lemons.

Writing is coming hard today. :/ Didn't feel well last night and didn't sleep all that great. More caffeine is clearly needed.

I never heard of this product before you started posting about it. Got a link to their site? My curiosity has just about killed me.

I was sick last night too....argh, never a good thing to be sick on a weekend as opposed to being sick on a workday and taking off......... I do hope you're feeling better now!

Gah, not on hand! Just type Lush Cosmetics into a search engine and the site should come up. :D

Being sick does indeed suck. I'm etter now, though!

I was silky and soft

I feel the need to experience this myself. Er.. I mean the.. bath thingy. That's what I mean.

Bah, you don't need to write if you don't feel up to it, you know. At least you're feeling better.. maybe? *hugs* And the layout looks nice too. Well, I think you shouldn't push yourself anyway. *kisses* I hope you're doing well right now.

And I am more than happy to help you experience it! The bath, of course. ;)

Yeah, I haven't written today at all and... I don't think I plan to. And intend to fight off my 'must write!' urges as best as I can. I am feeling much better today. Timmy is still quite sensitive, but not as upset as last night. *hugs* Thanks! Yeah, I pretty much stayed in bed and watched stuff and fiddled around with coding.
