Happiness Is....
"Life is too complicated. We need to concentrate on being annoyed with the most basic things and then go from there. If your shoes are uncomfortable, or if go outside thinking you look dorky in that pancho, there is no way you are going to be happy." - Jeffrey Rowland
I have chocolate vanilla chai. I did some note taking for an original story idea I've been toying with. I got laundry started. I wrote 5 more Maes/Gracia smut drabbles. And it's 11:30. I'm feeling very, very productive today.
About a month or two ago, I finally checked out the webcomic Two Lumps. I have massive amounts of love for this comic, because a) it's two cats and b) the authors are clearly Terry Pratchett fans. Any webcomic cats that curse in the name of Offler and Blind Io are good by me.
It is Jeffrey Rowland's birthday today. For those of you just joining us here in my journal, Jeffrey Rowland is the author of Overcompensating. I first found him off of a link on Scary-Go-Round. And I was immediately floored by the blog posts beneath the comics. Because he says what I think. But far more eloquently and with much more coherency. I am tempted to send him a happy birthday e-mail, even though he probably gets tons from his fans. I have only ever e-mailed one webcomic artist that I follow before. I did get a very lovely personal response though. Maybe I will e-mail him. Because I never miss his webcomic, and I read the things he says and I just nod my head and exclaim 'Yes! That's it! That is the truth of life!'.
If only more people on the internet could dispense the truths of life.
Now I am going to have lunch and clean up the mess the storm from last night left on the deck. I keep getting confused because it's warmer inside than it is outside, and that's just not normal.

I did. And now I'm nervous and whatnot, but also kind of glad.
