If You Don't Have a Home, You Can Buy One There

It is a sad day indeed when I have gravey fixings but no biscuits. Biscuits are essential to biscuits and gravey. I believe I will have turkey sausage with fruit instead for breakfast. Turkey sausage is actually quite good, and it is easy on my tummy and healthier than the dripping-with-fat pig sausage I usually eat. And it's quite good with a little cheese and a side of fruit.

I really need to update my memories. I've let it go and it's starting to get to the point where it's going to be a pain in the ass going back and adding everything. And I have to post a bunch of fics to [livejournal.com profile] 100_women.

I'm behind on House. I need to see last week's episode like...now. Because I heard it was quite good and the new one is on tonight and I don't want to fall too far behind. So I'll be making an effort to see that today, too. Plus I have other, non-internet stuff to do today. ;) I'll be busy today!

I keep thinking today is Wednesday and I have no idea why.

ETA: I do have biscuit fixings! And for all of you wondering what, exactly, biscuits and gravey actually is/are:

That is the very food I am eating at this moment. So, so good. Yes, it looks less-than-appetizing, but it's delicious!

"No boom." "No boom today. Boom tomorrow. Always boom tomorrow."

I may be getting that wrong - haven't actually gotten to the episode yet. But it amuses me oh-so-much.

Hehe, yeah, that's roughly the quote. The entire thing goes: 'No boom today. Boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow. What? Look, somebody's got to have some damn perspective around here. There's always a boom. Sooner or later ... boom!' :D

Having no biscuits is the saddest thing evar. D: Especially when you've the fixings for everything else.

(As for me, I keep feeling like it's Thursday and going "YAY TOMORROW IS FRI-- oh, wait." XD;)

As it turned out, I had biscuit fixings after all! *has biscuits and gravy now*

(Bah! That is not good!)

What are biscuits? Here they are sweet baked things - like cookies...we certainly do not eat them with gravy for breakfast! And sausage with fruit? Gawd, the nearest we get to that is maybe ham and pineapple or apple and cheese. Is it you or me that's weird?! ;-)

Biscuits are... like rolls. Fluffy, buttery rolls of golden baked goodness! Smothered in sausage gravey... so good. And very much an American dish! :D I believe it is me that's weird with the fruit and sasauge thing. ;)
