Small Random Sqeeage!

Captain N the Game Master is coming to DVD! The whole thing! On DVD!

My dream of having access to all the shows I loved as a child is coming closer and closer to being true! It will join my much loved burnt Zelda and Mysterious Cities of Gold CDs. Only it will be official, since it's actually being released and I don't have to scour the internet for it.

All I need is Sebastian and Belle and I will be happy.

Dude. Watching that show now.... It was so cracked.

It was so cracked. But boy did I love it...

Why does that show sound so familiar? I must have watched it a lot, and have forgotten all of it. Explain me?
Also we need to do the email thing, lady! :D

I know you used to watch it, too. The one with the guy who gets sucked into his ninendo and into Video Game world? He had a dog. And there was the Princess and the vampire hunter and then later they introduced Game Boy who was ridiculously annoying. Mother Brain was the big bad.

I know, I know. Emailing now!

Oh, you minx. You made me think of the Mysterious Cities of Gold, and nostalgia wells up in my already media-soaked mind. Grr. I won't forgive you easily for this.

Whoops! Sorry about that. ;)

It's actually funny. Or brain breakingly frustrating, depending on how you look at it. Long before I stumbled onto the vast media network of the internet and livejournal, I spent a good ten or so years believing that Mysterious Cities of Gold did not exist, because not a single other person I knew had ever heard of it. I would struggle to describe it, pulling from memory and offering up only '...it was about the Incans. And there was a...spaceship?' And I'd be looked at as though I had five heads. Finally, I was living with [livejournal.com profile] rivendellrose and [livejournal.com profile] narsilion and there was a man who was courting [livejournal.com profile] rivendellrose. And he had heard of MCoG. And he had it on his harddrive. And he gave me copies, and I was happy.

Now, everytime I mention MCoG in a post, at least half a dozen people pop up remembering it.

Mysterious Cities of Gold!? OMG someone else remembers that?! and the Zelda cartoons...omgomg :glee:

YES! YES! Ah, truly the internet is a wonderful place, for bringing together those of us who remember obscure cartoons!

Captain N? Wow, that takes be back. :)

[identity profile] theladyfeylene.livejournal.com 2006-04-19 04:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh yes. I loved that show something fierce.

AHAHAHA. I love misreading things. See, my eyes skipped a line while I was reading this entry. I thought you wrote "my dream of having a child." Insert gigantic double-take. "Wait, what? She wants a kid? Since when?"

And that's all I have to say, because I've never heard of Captain N. ^^;; *feels very young*

[identity profile] theladyfeylene.livejournal.com 2006-04-20 08:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Bah! No! No children! Never, ever any children. Nothing against them, just don't want them myself. I'm too much of a giant kid myself. ;)

Captain N was crack and awesome. It's about this teenage guy who gets sucked into his nintendo and ends up fighting to save the big kingdom of the main world of Nintendo land. His dog comes with him.

I didn't think so! XD For the split second before I re-read what you wrote, I was thinking "I hope she doesn't give up writing porn! D:" As you can see, my priorities are in perfect order... >_>

Does the dog have to fight to save Nintendo land as well? I think this is a show (?) I need to watch. CRACK YEY.
