Always Ed's Ass

I hate that I cannot get screencaps off of my media player. I am also darkly amused that no matter what opening or closing of FMA I am trying to screencap, I manage to get a picture of Ed's ass. I've been trying to screencap the third opening, the shot at the very end where Ed's turning away and smiling. But because Media Player is so oddly screwed, it never ceases to be an in-the-air shot of his ass.

I hold mikazuki fully responsible for dragging me back into FMA. ;) Which I'm happy for, as I do need to finish it. I made it up to... I don't remember what episode, because I just started watching and watching and watching. I love it, I just wish it weren't so massively doom-tastic. I'll probably run whimpering back to School Rumble when I'm done. Or watch Tactics again.

One of the main reasons I got away from FMA is because I ended up being spoiled for some major things. People don't cut things, people don't care about spoilers in icons, and people certainly don't care about spoilers in giant graphics used as signatures in forums. So my mind has been able to piece together enough to turn me sour for a bit. But I'm rapidly approaching the end.

Don't like the fourth opening much. I like the lyrics of the song, but I don't like the actual opening sequence. And I swear to god, in 'Ready, Steady, Go', right after the first english bit, that little tune that immediately follows is the Chocobo music. Which gives me all sorts of strange crossover ideas.

Back to work today!

Are you just using Windows Media Player? Yeah, it sucks for screencaps. My preferences are (of free players) are BS Player (http://www.download.com/BSplayer/3000-2139_4-10173678.html?tag=lst-0-1) - which has a built in screencap feature and DivX player (http://www.divx.com/) - with which you have to do the print screen/paste method, but I tend to like the player itself better.

Awww... you don't like the fourth opening? Though I liked all the openings. Only thing I didn't like was the third ending. Made no sense. 9_9

The random ass Winry fanservice ending? The third opening is my favorite. I don't know, the fourth one just seems to be... I can't put my finger on it. It just doesn't seem to fit with the other three.

Yeah, that one. So damn pointless. I was so happy to see the fourth ending if only because it wasn't the third ending. XD

I do like the fourth ending. I'm somewhere in the 40s as far as episodes go.

FMA is very, very shiny as far as the animation goes. It's gorgeous.

Aw, that's too bad~ I like the group's stuff overall (if only for their name -- Asian Kung-Fu Generation, ROCK XD), and I liked all the shinies of the opening.

It is so the Chocobo theme! Not the early Chocobo theme, but the FFVII Chocobo theme. It sounds just like it. I expect to hear a whistle....

Mmm, I'll take responsibility! ;D I have ten episodes left. 41 - 51.. I don't really know what happens at the end.. I've managed to avoid most spoilers. But I have a really bad feeling. I don't want to end up crying over it, but.. if I must.. heheh.

The third opening is my favorite too. It's so.. brotherly. I'm obsessed with their relationship right now.. it's so cute and touching.

And yes.. it's kinda depressing. I think I liked it more in the earlier parts when the comedy was easier to come by.. although even now there are random bits that just make me laugh out loud. I still love it though..

I think I'm right where you are. Uh.... how to explain the last episode I saw without making it spoilery just in case. It was a really big Scar episode, and Lust was there, and Al was having some major problems. *Feels that is vague enough that anyone who has seen it will know what I mean, but anyone who hasn't won't be spoiled*

Gah, I am now too! I love the Ed/Al relationship.

It has gotten very dark and not so much with the funny. Though some episodes are still light, like the one that focused on Roy and the Military. That one was a lot of fun! :D
