Cleaning Out My Closet
So, I just spent all morning going through boxes of my old crap. I ate and took something and my neck was fine, so I geared myself up and did it.
Oh holy crap, the things I found!
1) Folders full of old printed out fan fiction. Not mine, but stuff to read. Most of it dirty, dirty Highlander slash. Of the Methos/Richie variety. I know that somewhere, in a plastic tub or box, I have an entire binder full of Highlander fan fiction. I am almost frightened to come across it. I didn't read any of what I found today, and I don't know if I ever will. Except that I probably will.
2) Old journals of mine. What are these filled with? Mostly crappy poetry and copied over songs (WTF?) but also.... crappy fan fiction. Mostly of the Babylon 5 and Due South variety. I cringed when I read some of it. No, I don't think I'll be sharing any of it. Also, I had quite the fixation with Callum Kieth Rennie. I have homemade stickers of him plastered over all sorts of crap.
3) My very first published piece of work, in a tiny local scholastic magazine. It's a poem. I don't even remember writing it. Also, an old story I wrote for Creative Writing that was gone over in a workshop sort of setting. It's actually not bad.
4) A box full of black make-up - lipstick, eyeshadow, nail polish - and a black satin kitty collar with bells. That I used to wear. When I went to clubs. I think there are pictures somewhere, and I think they are scary.

6) Cheeseman! Seattle crew, Cheeseman lives! Cheeseman was a low budget B-movie that the Sci-Fi club I ran in High School was going to produce. We got some of it filmed, and them we graduated and nothing ever came of it. But I found the script, and it's as funny as I remember. Someday, Cheeseman will be filmed in entirety.
7) A bunch of other random stuff. Hey,zinjadu! Want a big glossy picture of Stan Kirsch striking a sexy pose? Also, rivendellrose and narsilion! I found a crap load of jingly kitty mice, if any of the kitties would like them.
Yeah, it was a busy ass morning for me. Now I am starving and there's no food.

Is it sad that I sort of think the jingly kitty collar sounds cute? In a "damn, if I still went out clubbing I might borrow that" kind of way? And kitty mice!!! I'm sure Theo would love one of them, if Miss, Snape, and New!Kitty can spare a few. ;)
I know how you feel about the old journals... I found one of mine the other day and got totally freaked out by the fact that, no, my mental processes really hadn't changed all that much in two years. o.O It was kind of surreal.
I shall now amuse myself for the rest of the day picturing you forking through dirty Methos/Richie with a pair of tongs or something, and imagining how loudly Kari will squee (and then quickly pretend she'd never do something so girly) when she reads this entry. XD Honestly... Methos/Richie? What were you thinking? ♥
