Sims, GIP and Gaia

Still sleepy. It has been a sleepy, sleepy weekend.

I know a ton of you play The Sims 2, and I ask of you now, where are the best places to download Christmas stuff? I have a couple of trees, some wreaths and a rug, but I'd like to go all out for one of my Sims houses. Also, Christmas themed clothing. I have a couple of things from Modthesims2 and Parsimonious, but I'd like a bit more. Yes, this does indeed mean there will actually be a Sims Update in the near future!

Also, GIP! I played with the Gaia Avatar maker for a bit and made a Snape/Remus icon a couple of days ago and then forgot about it. Speaking of, is anyone here on Gaia? I've joined recently. I don't know, I cannot resist these games that involve cute graphics. And my avatar is sickeningly cute. Sickeningly. Though not so much now that I've gotten her out of the frilly dress.

I really ought to get out of bed and get something to eat.

Hmmm. Christmas stuff. Well my first thought for anything TS2 is TSR but it's only partially free and most of the great meshes and stuff will not be on free rotation for a very long time, if ever. So you'd need to pay for it. BUT if you get a free account you can post in the messageboards and there are all kinds of great sites advertised there! Also I would recommend you take a look at The Sims Showcase (http://simsshowcase.planetthesims.gamespy.com/index.htm) which is basically a roundup of updates of all kinds of download sites. It's very comprehensive and most of the stuff you see is free.

I always forget to check the Sims Showcase. I am lazy and never bookmark it, and then I have to type it in google. Which I am too lazy too do. ;) I'm hoping Modthesims2 does what they did for Halloween, and just post a page with links to all sorts of holiday stuff.

I've been trying to play Sims2 all day. It keeps crashing on me, I'm finding myself saving after every alteration to my house >< It's getting really frustrating, I tell you. I think my computer doesn't have the minimum system requirments ... yet it's a brand new computer!

I used to be on Gaia, but I never uploaded anything. Same goes for my dA. I have crappy artwork.
